How many houses are for sale in the town or city you live in under the MLS listing?
There are 117 listed in the small New hampshire town I live in.
The average NH town has over 100 houses for sale.
Large cities have many more, like Manchester has 412. These are just the ones listed on the MLS website and do not include FSBOs.

Is it legal to construct a beach on the mississippi in Minneapolis?

Hi, I was looking at houses for sale online and I came across a place in Northeast Minneapolis that actually has a tiny little beach on the Mississippi river. I'm not planning on going swimming or anything, but I was wondering if it would be legal to have, say, a boat lift there? Or if i could haul in sand and make the beach bigger for hanging out on, bonfires, etc? Would any of this be legal within the Minneapolis city limits?

You really need to check with your city zoning commission on the beach thing. As for a boat lift I have my doubts since the Mississippi is a navigable water way with very high barge and ship traffic.
